Last week was truly a momentous occasion attending the 17th Annual ACOMMs Awards as proud charity partners since 2012!

Over the past decade, being part of the ACOMMs Awards has been an enriching and fulfilling experience. The event’s unwavering commitment to bolster the Australian Telecommunications industry by recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions continues to inspire us! It is a platform that not only celebrates success but also empowers individuals and organisations to reach their full potential.

Our Executive Director Renee Bowker (pictured) co-presented the first Contribution to Society Award winner to Optus for their Digital Thumbprint Program;

“For 10 years the Digital Thumbprint program has provided digital safety and wellbeing education for Australian school students, surpassing the 2025 target to support 550,000 young people to participate safely online. In 2013, issues like cyberbullying, Image-Based Abuse, protecting yourself from hackers and contact from strangers were still emerging. These issues remain prevalent and are deepening. The Digital Thumbprint program has positively changed behaviour and supported young people and families to thrive in the digital world.”
