A select group of Australia’s top performing Commander dealers came together this week for a boutique conference with parent company the Vocus Group, resulting in more than $170,000 raised for Telco Together Foundation.
The handful of small to medium business owners, who run top performing Commander dealerships across Australia, have generously supported the Foundation at their annual dealer conference over the past four years. This year, they continued to dig deep once again with every partner committing between five and ten thousand dollars to the cause, in addition to large donations pledged from a number of Vocus senior executives and managers in attendance.
With business done for the day, the Monday evening celebration took place at an intimate location on the Mornington Peninsula, incorporating Telco Together as the night’s charity partner and offering guests the opportunity to learn about disadvantaged communities and show their support for people in need.CEO’s from each of the Foundation’s Community Partners–ReachOut, Red Dust and SecondBite–were also in attendance, allowing guests to better understand the huge difference their donations have made to Australians in need across areas such as homelessness, mental health and Indigenous health.
Renee Bowker, CEO of Telco Together Foundation said;“We have been welcomed with open arms at each and every annual dealer conference since the Foundation launched in 2012 and this unwavering support is a real testament to the enthusiasm and passion of these inspiring entrepreneurs who generously give back to the communities they work within. A big thank you to all the dealers and the Vocus Group senior executives for embracing our vision and supporting us to continue our work.”
